03.03.2016 A Workshop on assessment of solar potential and mapping was held on March 2, in Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund. Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan, Director of Armenia R2E2 Fund Mrs. Tamara Babayan, as well as representatives of government agencies and educational institutions took part at the meeting. The Consultant from Spanish company “Effergy” Louis Martin Pomarese introduced solar power development perspectives, implemented studies, features of mapping of climatic zones and solar potential in Armenia, as well as resource investigation results for the installation of solar power stations and a number of other issues during the workshop.
