28.06.2016 Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund has implemented the following energy saving measures in Vagharshapat Hospital under the Energy Efficiency Project: replacement of external doors with energy-efficient doors, roof insulation, partial replacement of windows with insulated walls, thermal insulation of under window slots, gas pipeline and gas regulation works, assembling of metering system, construction of external heating network, construction assembling of internal heating system, reconstruction and retrofitting of the boiler house. Due to energy efficiency measures implemented in the building energy saving is around 48.1%. The director of the Hospital Vachagan Mkrtchian noticed that thanks to energy saving measures the average temperature is 24-25 degrees in the corridors and rooms, even in severe winter conditions.
