13.04.2015 The ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of RA, on behalf of Armenia Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund, in the scope of the project “Scaling up the renewable energy in low-income countries” assisted by World Bank, plans to implement exploration drilling works in geothermal area of Qarqar in Syunik region. For the environmental impact assessment of the proposed activity, a public discussion/hearings, organized by R2E2 Fund, was held in the village municipality of Tsghuk on March 26 at 12 o’clock: Community members of Tghuk, Spandaryan and Sarnakunq villages and the representatives of R2E2 took part in the meeting.
