16.08.2016 Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund implemented street lighting works in communities of Armenia under the Energy Efficiency Project. The following energy saving measures has been implemented within Hrazdan city street lighting project: replacement of mercury vapor 400 W and 250 W street lighting lamps with high pressure sodium lamps of the same quantity, providing equivalent lighting, regulation of management and control system, improvement of lighting network electricity parameters, replacement of missing pillars and outside lamps, painting of pillars, 1200m long cabling works, replacement of 5400m long old electric feeding wires with new outside lamps, installation of lighting systems and pillars. Due to energy saving measures savings are about 41.4%.
