04.04.2016 Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund along with the French company Effergy organized five-day workshop on “Design and construction of industrial scale solar PV system” from April 4-8. Consultants of Effergy company Raiko Parra and Isidoro Lillo welcomed the participants, expressing their hope, that this seminar will help to increase the knowledge of local experts in this field. The main purpose of the seminar is to increase the knowledge and skills of Armenian experts of professional institutions, which will contribute to the further construction of solar PV systems in Armenia. During the seminar the following topics have been presented: variety of solar PV systems, descriptions, preliminary design principles, standard calculations, case study of electrical system design, monitoring of PV stations, alarm systems, evaluation methods of energy production, environmental impact assessment, as well as issues related to operation and maintenance. The workshop brought together the representatives of government agencies, energy companies, universities, professors, students and other interested organizations and experts.
