Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund implemented heat supply rehabilitation and energy efficiency activities in 9 schools of RA Syunik marz under Urban Heating Project in 2005-2010.

Syunik marz is situated in the south of the Republic of Armenia. In the North the marz borders with RA Vayots Dzor marz, in the South it borders with Iran, (the length of border is 42 km), in the West – Nakhijevan and in the East -Azerbaijan.
