24.06.2016 Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund implemented street lighting activities in communities under the Energy Efficiency Project. The following energy saving measures has been implemented within the Dilijan city street lighting project: replacement of outdoor incandescent lamps with fluorescent lamps providing adequate lighting, replacement of mercury vapor street lighting lamps with high pressure sodium lamps providing equivalent lighting. Due to energy saving measures savings are about 45.2%, and the number of lighted streets increased consequently.
