Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund implemented heat supply rehabilitation and energy efficiency activities in 17 schools of RA Aragatsotn marz under Urban Heating Project in 2005-2010.

Aragatsotn marz of RA is situated in the territory lying between the capital Yerevan and the highest peak of RAAragats. In the West the territory stretches until the state border of Turkey, in the North it borders RA Shirak and Lori marzes, in the East – RA Kotayk marz, in the South-East – capital Yerevan and in the South – RA Armavir marz.
