28.04.2015 The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of RA, on behalf of Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund and in the scope of “Scaling up Renewable Energy in low-income countries” project with the support of the World Bank, plans to implement Geothermal Exploratory Drilling at Karkar geothermal site of Syunik region.
In order to proceed with the proposed Armenia Geothermal Project, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Report and Management Plan and Resettlement Policy Framework have been prepared.
