15.07.2014 On July 15, a meeting was held with Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund director Tamara Babayan and the chairman of Armenia Municipal Association and its members. The chairman of the Municipal Association of Armenia welcomed the guests and stated that holding such meetings are a good opportunity to introduce renewable energy and energy efficiency sector in depth.Araik Hovhannisyan, the chairman of the Association noted that such meetings allow local self-governing bodies participate in the projects implementing in energy and energy efficiency sectors. Tamara Babayan, Director of the Fund, introduced thoroughly the Fund’s activities and particularly the importance of energy efficiency project implemented by the Fund, including activities implemented umder the project. Several
questions were discussed during the meeting. Then the movie “Effective energy consumption formula” was showed, which described the Fund’s on-going activities and its further plans.
