Discussion on Energy Efficiency Project

24.05.2013 A Discussion took place in R2E2 Fund about the World Bank financed Energy Efficiency Project in April 26.  The discussion was about the measures implemented in below mentioned facilities;

   3.    Implementation of Energy saving measures in   Yerevan School № 21 after Al.ShirvanzadehSNGO , EE-CW-15/2013
   4.    Implementation of Energy saving measures in   “Main school in Ltchashen village” SNGO, EE-CW-6/2013
   5.    Implementation of Energy saving measures in   “Main school № 5 in Gavar village” SNGO, EE-CW-5/2013
   6.    Implementation of Energy saving measures in   “Vanadzor street lighting systems”, SNGO,  EE-CW-12/2013
   7.    Implementation of Energy saving measures in   PEI (Preschool Education Institution)   № 3 in Vayk, NGO EE-CW-4/2013
   8.    Implementation of Energy saving measures in “Vayk street lighting systems”, EE-CW-8/2013
   9.    Implementation of Energy saving measures in    “Dilijan street lighting systems”, EE-CW-7/2013

Several construction and design organizations participated in the discussion. The objective of the discussion was to inform the participants about the tenders held under the project, as well as implemented measures, anticipated activities, and expected outcomes. Mrs.  Tamara Babayan, the Director of the Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund of Armenia greeted the participants and asked them to take part actively in the discussion. Zaruhi Gharagyozyan, the Procurement specialist, Roza Manucharyan,   Financial manager, Hrant Ter-Gabrielyan Energy Efficiency Expert and Hmayak Avagyan Energy Efficiency Environmental specialist had speeches during the discussion. The Procurement specialist Zaruhi Gharagyozyan represented  procurement procedure and tender  criteria. The Financial Manager o Roza Manucharyan represented the NPV (Net Presented Value) calculation formula, benefits and   payment conditions.  Roza Manucharyan emphasized energy efficiency calculation method in her speech. The EE expert Hrant Ter-Gabrielyan represented thermal-technical indicators of energy efficiency (regulatory documents, thermal calculation, feasibility indicators). Environmental specialist   Hmayak Avagyan underlined the importance of the Environmental management plan (EMP) and the works implemented in the  construction site.
