22.07.2016 Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Fund Efficiency has implemented energy saving measures in Basic School N 66 after A. Myasnikyan under the Energy Efficiency Project. The objective of the project is to reduce electricity consumption in the school. The following energy efficiency measures has been performed in the school: replacement of heat convertors, replacement of old inefficient windows, partial reconstruction of ineffective windows with walls, replacement of external doors with energy efficient doors. Due to energy saving measures in the building energy saving is around 46.9 %. The Director of the School Zaruhi Ayvazyan stated that after the implementation of energy saving measures the number of ill students’ has been reduced and number of students’ attendances has been increased in general.
