26.08.2016 Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund carried out street lighting activities in Akhurian city within the framework of Energy Efficiency project. The following energy saving measures has been implemented under the project: replacement of mercury vapor street lighting lamps with high pressure sodium lamps, replacement of DRL 250 lamps with 150 W sodium high-pressure lamps, replacement of 100 W incandescent decorative lamps with 30 W fluorescent lamps, regulation of management and control system, improvement of lighting network parameters, replacement of missing pillars and outside lamps, painting of pillars, cabling works. Due to energy saving measures savings are about 58%.
