16.12.2014 Armenia Renewable Energy Conference is continuing today. The Fund director Tamara Babayan and RE and EE expert Armen Gharibyan had speeches in the conference. Tamara Babayan introduced decision-making tools for the introduction of renewable energy projects for the precise economic and environmental analyzes. Armen Gharibyanpresented investment possibilities in renewable energy sector of Armenia. The Conference participants discussed the issues related to renewable energy sector investment opportunities, industry and other branches of the sector, i.e environmental and social assessment problems of the geothermal energy projects, as well as characteristics for calculation of solar technologies investments. The participants expressed hope that such initiatives will promote mutually beneficial cooperation between different agencies and organizations, which will enable to implement joint projects in Armenia for the efficient use of renewable energy potential.
