Armenia Renweble Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund organized a training course for the members of "Women in Climate and Energy (WiCE) NGO in the framework of the Dialogue on Energy and Climate Change” project, on May 31. The purpose of the training was to introduce the participants of the training with the activities of the R2E2 Fund and key players in the energy market, installation specifications of solar water heaters and photovoltaic systems and thermal insulation materials.
Welcoming the initiative, Karen Asatryan, Director of the R2E2 Fund presented the main goals of the Fund, its strategic directions, ccompleted and ongoing projects. Thematic reports and discussions presented by experts were accompanied by a film on Energy Efficiency. Participants also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the types of insulation materials in place and received answers to their questions.
