Within the framework of “Energy Efficiency Improvement Project of non-gasified Communities of Armenia”, outside artificial lighting system reconstruction was carried out in Gandzak community.
60 pieces of 250W high pressure sodium (DNAT)lamps and 60 units of 85W compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) were used for outdoor lighting of the community. Within the project framework, 250W high pressure lamps have been replaced by 140W durable and high-quality LED lamps. At the same time, 21 pillars were restored and 600 square meter electrical wiring was done.
Due to the aforementioned works, annual reduction of CO2 emissions will be 5
tons, energy efficiency – 44%, energy saving – 12045kW/h, which will make
541.000 drams per year.
