Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund and British “Invest In Network”Ltd organized “Energy Week 2018” Investment Forum from 14 to 16 November. The Forum was held with the support of the Ministry of energy infrastructures and natural resources of the RA, under the auspices of the Government of the RA. The series of traditional Forum events organized by the Fund are aimed at introducing the latest developments in renewable energy sector, technological and engineering solutions and long-term projects investment opportunities in Armenia.
“Energy Week Armenia 2018” was attended by representatives from more than 15 countries being interested in the development of solar power stations in Armenia. Investors represent different countries: USA, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Austria, China, Lebanon, UAE, Russia, Kazakhstan.
Also participating was the first acting Deputy Prime Minister of the RA Tigran Avinyan, the acting Minister of energy infrastructures and natural resources Garegin Baghramyan, government officials, the World Bank Country Director Sylvie Bossoutrot, the IFC South Caucasus Regional Manager Jan van Bilsen, ambassadors, heads of international organizations, foreign investors, experts, private and public sector representatives.
