On October 22, a session of the Board of Trustees of the Fund was held, which was chaired by the acting Minister of energy infrastructures and natural resources of Armenia Mr. Garegin Baghramyan. During the session Karen Asatryan was elected the director of Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund.
After the BOT meeting Garegin Baghramyan presented the new director to the staff of the Fund and emphasized that coordinated efforts will greatly contribute to the future undertakings and developments of the Fund.
Karen Asatryan noted that he is familiar with the energy sector, as well as the activities of the Fund and will make maximum effort for the development of the sector.
In the course of the meeting, the minister also touched upon the organizational problems of the “Energy Week Armenia -2018” investment forum, which will be held on November 14-16, and noted that it is necessary to work on a daily basis in order to attract investments and ensure implementation of forthcoming works properly.
It should be noted that during the “Energy Week Armenia – 2018” investment forum, several projects will be presented to investors, including five solar power plant packages.
