The French TransEnergy plans to build a floating solar power plant in Armenia -told in his interview to Sputnik Armenia Karen Asatryan, Director of Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund. The floating solar plant with an installed capacity of 151 kW is the first of its kind in the region. The annual yield of the plant is estimated nearly 250 thousand kWh / year. For this purpose, a group of specialists from France and experts of the R2E2 Fund are studying Aparan, Azat reservoirs, and Lake Yerevanyan.
