One of the main missions of the R2E2 fund is the energy efficiency of state and public buildings, in the framework of which energy audit of public buildings is currently conducted. Over the past three months, the Fund surveyed about 22 buildings.
The R2E2 experts perform on-site and in-building measurements, data collection, assessment of boiler house and basic energy-consuming equipment, as well as energy cost analysis. The Energy Audit allows identifying possible ways to reduce energy consumption and to propose energy-saving measures that will reduce annual energy consumption in public buildings, as well as reduce CO2 emissions.
The Fund is preparing an action plan for these buildings, to be followed by energy- saving measures. Being one of the responsible agencies of the sector development, the Fund applies only the best practice and technologies of the sector in its EE projects.
