The Executive Chairman of “RAM Energy Incorporation” Mr. Hezy Ram arrived Armenia from the United States of America within the framework of the “Geothermal Exploratory Drilling Project” in Karkar geothermal site of Syunik region, RA.
Within the framework of the visit, the Deputy Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan and the Director of Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund (R2E2), Armen Melkikyan had a meeting with the delegation. The Armenian side introduced the “Geothermal Exploratory Drilling Project”, implemented activities, and discussed the opportunities of cooperation and prospects for making investments in Armenia.
With the assistance of R2E2 Fund specialists, Hezy Ram visited Karkar geothermal site in Syunik Region, where he conducted investigations at B1 and B2 wells with the Fund’s experts and measured the water temperature at Jermaghbyur geothermal site. As a result, the investor is expected to continue the studies at the site and select the investment format.
