A meeting was held in Shirak regional administration within the framework of the\u00a0Innovative solutions for sustainable development goals in Armenia project on August\u00a014. Chief of Staff of Shirak region Karen Badishyan, the relevant staff of the regional\u00a0administration and community leaders were present at the discussion. Energy specialist of Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund Norayr\u00a0 Haroutyunyan Asatryan presented the \u201cInnovative Solutions for SDG Implementation in\u00a0Armenia\u201d project, which envisages installation of solar water heaters and PV panels for\u00a0families having 3 or more children and residing in non-gasified communities of\u00a0Gegharkunik region, providing them with soft loans through partner banks.
\nThe development and scheduling of the activities, as well as the procedures to be\u00a0implemented with the banks within the project framework were discussed with the staff\u00a0of the regional administration. Project coordinator Norayr Haroutyunyan answered the\u00a0questions of the participants relating to the project.<\/p>\n
