The R2E2\u00a0fund director Karen Asatryan introduced the activities of the Fund, implemented projects\u00a0and perspectives. Issues relating to the accreditation process and planned programs\u00a0were discussed at the meeting.<br \/>\nAt present, R2E2 Fund is in the process of accreditation to the Green Climate Fund\u00a0(GCF). The Fund has overcome the first stage of accreditation and there are all the\u00a0opportunities that the Fund will overcome the second stage as well. The membership of\u00a0such an organization will allow the Fund to participate in major investment programs.<br \/>\nThe accreditation process will be completed by the end of 2019.<br \/>\nGreen Climate Fund was set up by the 194 countries who are parties to the United\u00a0Nations Framework Convention on Climate change (UNFCCC) in 2010.
